Hot Fudge Sundae Cupcakes in a Jar
These turned out to be very very good, some of the instructions were not necessary. The instructions tell you to place a cupcake liner in each jar, but we ended up using small oven-safe bowls (ramekins) because the jars were unnecessarily tall. Our final opinion is that they are pretty much just cupcakes with whipped topping, hot fudge sauce, and sprinkles. The recipe and title makes them sound a lot fancier than they really are.
They were so messy. So so so messy. They tasted pretty good, but boy were they hard to make. The patties didn’t stick together very well and ended up in odd oval shapes. It is possible that I didn’t do the best job at making them, so I encourage you to try them for yourself! The plus side was that they still tasted great and my cats went crazy over the crab meat.
